MOME Living has joined forces with Stravillia Sustainable Hub, a consultancy specialising in sustainable solutions, to promote the more efficient and responsible development of residential projects and other forms of housing. The collaboration aims to help reduce the carbon footprint of buildings and minimise the impact of construction on ecosystems, by promoting more responsible housing models that are in line with current environmental and social challenges.
As part of the partnership, Stravillia will support MOME in identifying impact-oriented financing solutions, measuring the carbon footprint of buildings and furthering the process towards B Corp certification. This work will enable ESG criteria to be incorporated more systematically into the various stages of projects, supporting decision-making relating to the design, construction, financing and assessment of the environmental and social impact of developments. The collaboration also reinforces MOME’s commitment to developing housing models centred on people, the community and the challenges of contemporary urban life, contributing to more accessible, inclusive and socially responsible solutions.
Through this partnership, Stravillia and MOME aim to contribute to a more integrated approach to sustainability in the residential sector and to increasing the housing supply, including the development of social housing projects. By taking environmental and social impacts into account from the financing of projects right through to their completion, the collaboration seeks to demonstrate that it is possible to reconcile meeting housing needs with quality, environmental responsibility and the creation of value for communities.
