Sofia Barbosa has been selected for the exclusive Santander W50 Portugal programme, a women’s leadership initiative that this year gains renewed momentum to identify the 50 top female leaders from each of the 11 participating countries: Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Mexico, Poland, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, and the United States. The 50 top national female leaders were chosen from a pool of 420 candidates and will now join the global SW50 edition, where a jury will select the 50 best female leaders worldwide, who will have the opportunity to attend a high-performance in-person course in London. Over the past 14 years, more than 800 women have participated in the Santander W50 programme since its launch.
